The ProjectThe Michigan Statewide Field Team (SWFT) wanted to develop an online learning program. Prior to our work with them, they provided professional development courses for schools and educators through face to face classes and summer institutes. In order to reach a broader audience they wanted to move many of their courses online. There were several components to the project: establishment of an LMS, identification of which courses they would move online, development of a landing page for their program, and development of the courses. The initial project was to develop four online courses and set up the LMS within a 5 month time period. Spark was able to meet their required deadlines and the four courses launched in the fall of 2018 to rave reviews by their learners. The SWFT has even dubbed our courses the "Sparked" courses. Based on the successful delivery, we have developed several additional courses using Articulate Rise and Vyond. You can view these courses at the MI Systems Support On-Demand Learning website. The Practices modules (Instructional Leadership Routines, Instructional System, Student Support System, Talent Management System, and Teacher Collaborative Routines) all include a Vyond video integrated into Rise in Modules 2 and 3.
