The Project

Over the course of several years we have developed multiple teacher professional learning courses for the Michigan Department of Education through Michigan Virtual University.  Many of these courses were required to meet Section 508 compliance.  Originally the courses were hosted in Moodle but then were transferred over to the Brightspace LMS.  Some of the earlier courses were built in Articulate Presenter and the rest were built in Storyline and Rise.  The variety of courses included the following components:

• Scenario-based learning
• Personalized learning
• Gamification
• Short videos using Vyond (formerly GoAnimate)
• Data entry fields with printable reports
