The Project

The Michigan State University Extensions wanted to update several online modules for their Michigan Pollinator Initiative.  The modules help to educate those throughout the State of Michigan on issues related to pollinators and pollination. The modules needed to meet Section 508 compliance.  Some of the interactions included in this course were: 

• Identification activity - learners clicked on an option that would best improve their blueberry yields 
• Click to reveal activity - learners clicked on different types of bees to understand the differences between them
• ​Marker activity - learners clicked on each marker to see the life cycle of tunnel-nesting bees
  
• Slider interaction - learners dragged the slider to reveal the different types of costs that go into beekeeping
