The Project

(I built this project to show exactly how advanced AI tools can speed up and transform the e-learning lifecycle—from the initial outline to the final design. But there is a huge catch: AI isn't a magic 'generate' button. While the technology did a lot of the heavy lifting, this project proves that it still takes a skilled instructional designer's eye to make a course truly effective. It required constant tweaking, auditing, and restructuring to fix generic AI outputs, sharpen the learning objectives, and customize the visuals. Ultimately, this project showcases how a human designer can partner with an AI toolchain to build a premium, high-quality course in a fraction of the traditional time.

The project entailed the following items:

  • Role: Core Strategy & Ideation Engine
  • ​Developed the high-level course outline and modular objectives for the training.
  • Leveraged the finalized course content to draft and optimize natural-sounding presenter scripts for the video assets.
• Articulate AI Assistant (Course Generator)
  • ​Role: Rapid Content Generation & Structural Assembly
  • Fed the ChatGPT/Gemini outlines directly into Articulate’s AI Assistant to rapidly generate the core lesson content, layouts, and initial image assets.
  • Drastically reduced overall development time by leveraging native AI block-generation.
• HeyGen AI Studio & Canva
  • ​Role: Premium Media Production
  • Produced introductory video assets to hook learners at the start of each lesson.
  • Combined HeyGen avatars with custom graphics built using Canva's AI generator to keep the visuals cohesive and engaging.
• Mighty Extension for Rise
  • ​Role: Custom Branding & Visual Enhancement
  • Bypassed standard Rise design limitations to implement custom visual elements.
  • Customized lesson headers, image banners, transitions, buttons, and interactions.
  • Designed the final reflection component with a downloadable PDF.
